The “Sailesh Singhania” label was created with the vision to promote hand woven saris and apparel with a unique sense of aesthetics for discerning customers through the formation of the Sailesh Singhania Design House. Sailesh whose innovations and passion drives the development and growth of this label has been supporting handloom weaving since many decades. The brand helps generate employment amongst various weaving clusters in India that need exposure and deserve recognition for the beautiful work that they do. Singhanias believe in holistic, individual, integrated fashion & their clients take pride in incorporating handlooms in their wardrobe. We as Singhanias, works with 700 handloom weavers approx. throughout the year. Along with that, we also support 22 different clusters including pochampally, gadwal, uppada, kota, chanderi and many more. We have also adopted 3 villages completely and are also involved in their welfare. We promote weavers, by providing them with yarn, zari, dyes and designs for making better products and also make sure that their children get better education & learn the traditional skills of weaving, so that they can take the craft forward. Also by providing technical support of jacquard, warping jalas, and other design and weaving process. His ideology is bringing the Indian youth towards our rich Indian traditional textiles so that they collaborate with the Indian roots of crafts and textiles and futher incorporate it their styling.He feels immense pleasure and satisfaction in supporting these crafts and promoting them through it through Sailesh Singhania. Sailesh Singhania has over the years created his unique signature style that subtly draws from his Indian roots to craft artisanal sarees and garments that stand apart due to their faultlessly clean lines and careful detailing. His work epitomizes simplicity, yet on closer look reveals his obsessive attention to detail. While he combines the ancestral techniques with the traditional designs in an understated design aesthetic, his collections have a global appeal yet remain passionately Indian. His objective is to create jobs and employment in the villages and outskirts which will help the artisans and their villages to support the craft so that it won’t get extinct & believes the handloom weavers through their crafts and techniques only should get a fair wage, good livelihood and quality education for their children. In his design house he works with various traditional hand artisans and craft persons so that the essence of its originality remains in the craft. The designs combine traditional techniques with contemporary flair using a wide palette of colours. This creates a youthful and vibrant look which appeals to customers looking for ‘tradition with a twist’!
